We are actively monitoring the status of COVID-19 (coronavirus), and the impact to our team, our clients and the community.

The last few weeks has evolved into a truly unprecedented situation. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at Plexus.

Firstly, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, and the healthcare workers on the front lines around the world.

Second, we have a strong focus at Plexus on the health and wellbeing of our team, their families and our broader community (including our global network of clients and users).

We have developed a dynamic internal policy to deal with this situation that is aligned with government requests and which follows the behaviour of all major companies headquartered in Australia.

In addition to policies already in place, we are taking added steps to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our people and clients in the event the situation escalates. These steps include (but are not limited to) increased hygiene provisions, postponing of all non-essential domestic and international business travel, and asking our teams to work with customers through digital channels as much as possible.

Third, our team remains as committed as ever to your success. Our Business Continuity Plan ensures we are capable of working 100% remotely, and we have confidence that even in a fully remote scenario Plexus has full capability to provide all services to our clients.

We hold client relationships and personal interaction in the highest regard. In the event we cannot do this face to face or from our offices or those of our clients, we have the technology in place to continue to work with you and our people as outlined above.

One of the major benefits of our technology products being built in the cloud is that you can access and work within your Plexus Gateway instance from anywhere, at any time, on any device. This has always been true, but is perhaps more important now than ever before.

We hope you all maintain healthy productive working practices over the coming weeks. We will continue to assess the impact of COVID-19 developments and I will provide further updates if necessary.
