Eligible entrants

Entries are only open to Australian and NZ residents who are 18 years and over.

How to Enter

To take part in the Promotion, the entrant must complete the following steps:

  • attend one of the NRL State of Origin matches outlined above (each an ‘Event’);
  • visit the CWH X CRV NRL Activation at the Event; and
  • participate in the ‘Giant CeraVe Tub’ game as prompted (‘Game’).

Game: A giant CeraVe tub (“Cerave Tub”) with various pit balls will be displayed in each Activation. Participants are required to reach inside in the Cerave Tub and grab one (1) pit ball. A pit ball will either: a) contain a note inside outlining their prize; or b) be empty (i.e. not have a note inside). Once a participant has chosen and grabbed a pit ball, they may no longer replace their chosen ball. The participant must then (on the same day of the Activation) present the ball to the staff assigned to open the pit ball and reveal whether the participant has won a prize or not.

If a participant acts in a disorderly manner, attempts to skip their position in the queue, or is physically or verbally abusive or is disruptive to the peaceful implementation of the Game, they may at the promotional staff member’s discretion be asked to leave and may forfeit their chance to participate in the Game and/or their right to a prize.

Entries permitted

Only one (1) Game play per person in each Activation.

Total Prize Pool

Up to AUD$7,184.56

  • $50 Chemist Warehouse Vouchers
  • Half Time Activity ticket (see Prize Conditions below for details)

Prize Conditions

Voucher Prize Conditions: Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the voucher are not included. Any unused balance of the voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher.

Half Time Activity Ticket Conditions: The prize is an opportunity to be a part of the State of Origin Half Time Activity (‘Activity’) on the corresponding Event date. If the entrant is unwilling or unable to participate at the designated time for the Activity, they forfeit their opportunity to claim the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to offer a substitute prize. The winners must provide their personal details (first name, last name, email address, home address and phone number) to the promotional staff. In the case this prize is not drawn for a particular Event in time for the Activity to take place (i.e. by 7:00 pm AEST of the applicable State of Origin event), promotional staff reserve the right to award this prize to a participant at random.

CeraVe Packs Prize Conditions:

The winners must provide their personal details (first name, last name, home address and email address) to the promotional staff for prize delivery.

Half Time Activity Details

  1. There will be three (3) Half Time Activity ticket winners for each Activation (each a ‘Participant').
  2. Participants are required to visit the CWH X CRV NRL Activation during half time of the applicable State of Origin Event. The Activity will begin when all three (3) Participants are ready or by 7:00 pm AEST of the applicable State of Origin Event (whichever occurs first).
    1. In the event a Participant is a ‘no-show’, then that Participant will not be eligible to participate in the Activity and will not be awarded with any other prize in lieu. A promotional staff member will participate as a ‘fake participant’ to take the place of the ‘no-show’ Participant but will purposely lose and not receive any prize.
  3. Participants must follow the directive of promotional staff to be in the right place at the right time, otherwise they may lose their chance to take part in the Activation.
  4. There will be ‘hollow’ and ‘solid’ boxes set out in the Activation. Each Participant must first stand on an available ‘solid’ box on the first row. The Participant must aim to jump on ‘solid’ boxes until they reach the last row (‘Goal’). In the event a Participant jumps on a ‘hollow’ box, they must return to the first ‘solid’ box on the first row and then continue.
    1. The first Participant to achieve the Goal will win $2,500 in cash.
    2. The second Participant to achieve the Goal will win a $500 Chemist Warehouse voucher.
    3. All three (3) Participants will also receive a CeraVe pack which includes: Moisturising Lotion 236ml, Moistursing Cream 340g, Advanced Repair Balm 50ml, Hydrating Cleanser 236ml and Facial PM Moisturising lotion 52ml (valued at $102.95 in total).
    4. In the event of a tie for first and second prizes, the prize(s) in question will be split equally between the tied Participants.
  5. Each Participant must possess appropriate levels of fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity and other personal characteristics so as to be able to safely undertake the Activity. Participants must carefully assess the levels of fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity and other personal characteristics required of them when the Activity is disclosed to them. The promotional staff and event organisers reserve the right to assess whether or not a person is fit to participate in the Activity. Participants must immediately withdraw from the Activity if they may not satisfy any of the required levels of fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity or other personal characteristics. The Promoter may require Participants to submit information relating to their fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity or other personal characteristics and sign a waiver prior to participating in the Activity. Acceptance of a Participant following receipt of this information in no way: (a) constitutes a representation or assurance that the Participant is suited to undertake the Activity; or (b) relieves the entrant of the obligation to assess the requirements of the Activity and to withdraw if there is any doubt regarding their suitability.
  6. The promotional staff and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any Participant for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.
  7. All Participants must be aged 18 years or over to be eligible to participate in the Activity.

Further Conditions

  1. The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule) and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
  2. Valid and eligible entries will be accepted during an Activation Period.
  3. 4. If any entrant chooses not to take their prize (or is unable to), or does not take or claim a prize within a reasonable time, as specified by the Promoter, or is unavailable, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.
  5. The value of the prizes is accurate and based upon the recommended retail value of the prizes (inclusive of GST) at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes after that date.
  6. No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other prize or transferable, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter.
  7. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim.
  8. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured.
  9. Instant win game materials void if stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with in any way.
  10. If a prize (or portion of a prize) is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that portion of the prize) to a prize of equal or greater value and specification, subject to any written directions of a regulatory authority.
  11. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  12. If a prize is provided to the Promoter by a third party, the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the third party prize supplier. The terms and conditions which apply to the prize at the time it is issued to the entrant will prevail over these Conditions of Entry in the event of any inconsistency. To the extent permitted by law the Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the prize, any delay or failure relating to the prize itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these Conditions of Entry or otherwise.
  13. Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Conditions of Entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) and/or Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ) and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  14. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of an entrant's details (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). In the event that an entrant cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the entrant will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the entrant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final.
  17. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation). For the sake of clarity, this clause shall not apply where the Promoter has contributed to or caused such loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death and shall not apply to any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in each case the Promoter’s liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  18. The winners will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledge that the Promoter may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them.
  19. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the entrant must seek their own independent financial advice in regards to the tax implications relating to the prize or acceptance of the prize.
  20. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
