WE'RE HIRING: 2020 Plexus Roles

Plexus is gearing up for a huge year in 2020, and achieving our aggressive growth plan won’t be possible without massively increasing our headcount.

As such, we’re on the lookout for some amazing people to join our team and be a part of what The Australian described as “the most exciting development in the provision of legal services in a long time”.

Below is a quick recap of what we achieved in 2019 plus our plans for the New Year. If you like what you read, our Talent Director, Hannah, would love to have a chat.

In 2019 we...

• Closed the largest capital raise in Australian legal history and formed a strategic partnership with KPMG Law. The alliance was marked as a ‘coming of age’ for the Australian legal industry and highlighted the importance of technology in a rapidly evolving legal market.
• Doubled the size of our product, engineering, sales and customer success teams.
• Kicked off some amazing new client partnerships with the likes of Kelloggs, The Iconic, Seek and Mushroom Group (yes, we signed a record label). These join a stable that already includes Woolworths, Coca Cola and L’Oreal.
• Broke the photo booth at our Christmas party...

In 2020 we will...

• Hire 60+ people, mostly in Product and Engineering.
• Win 40+ new enterprise clients and comfortably double our 2019 revenue numbers.
• Continue to evolve our product, packing it with new features and making it easier for customers to buy and configure.
• Give hundreds of thousands of hours back to tens of thousands of lawyers and business users, allowing them to spend less time on admin and more time on strategic work.

• Commercial Director: An opportunity to work with a Commercial Team who are at the top of their game. Driving end to end business development activities to support the growth of Plexus nationally.

• Chief Financial Officer: This is not your typical "finance leader" opportunity, but a key strategic role to support the growth of the organisation globally. Lead and execute the Plexus strategy, challenge the strategic thinking of our management teams to improve performance across not just Finance, but the entire Operations. Lead interesting, growth dominant projects and "hold the bar" with the CEO on accountability to achieve business goals.

• Chief Product Officer: A senior leadership role will be responsible for the product vision, product strategy, product design, product development, and product marketing. Own all of it! You will be the company’s leading expert on the customer and will be an integral leader in the explosive growth of the business over the coming years as we seek to disrupt the legal industry and achieve our vision to create The Future of The Law.

• Senior Software Engineer: We need a Senior Engineer who is insanely excited by challenges! Professionally, a great coder, but on a deeper level, someone who has a strong interest in design patterns and principles, what they are and how they support SaaS products to be amazing. We are in this game for the long-term so we need people who can focus on quality and genuinely believe in the importance of our product, make an impact in making it the best it can be and ultimately, change people’s lives and the way they work.

• Front End Engineer: Come play an active role in evolving our Plexus Gateway product. You will build the interface for a product that some of the world’s largest companies can seamlessly navigate and interact with the product. Working with a multi-functional team using the latest technology stacks to generate the future of the law. You will sit alongside exceptionally smart people who have worked at some of Australia’s most successful technology companies to date.

• UI Designer: We are on the hunt for a first-class Visual/UI Designer to join our business and drive the continued growth of our flagship SaaS product. This is an opportunity that will have a huge impact on our ability to deliver user-centric solutions that will change the face of the legal industry and create huge value for our clients. Our vision is for beautifully simple products that our clients actually enjoy using and continue to develop this to be the best version of the product it could possibly be.

• UX Designer: Come and own the design process, develop a methodology to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. Identify problem areas within the user experience and design measurable improvements. This role will have a huge impact on delivering user centric solutions that will change the face of the legal industry and create huge value for our clients.

• Sales Development Representative: It’s not only in Melbourne that we are growing – Our Commercial Team in Sydney are smashing goals daily and we need another Sales Development Representative to join them in doing so! An opportunity to work closely with our talented Directors (who are also incredible mentors for any budding Business Development professional) and to continue to build our brand across Australia, having smart, intelligent and consultative conversations with key executives daily.

• Talent Associate: Join our awesome Talent Team! An opportunity to support the Plexus Engage legal secondment business and take ownership for all legal talent recruitment from a candidate perspective. Do you love candidate management and finding the best talent out there? Make an impact, be the key contact for interesting and super smart Lawyers daily and build strong relationships across all levels to consistently deliver top legal talent.
