Registration Period

Start date: 11/12/23 at 09:00 am AEDT

End date: 14/01/24 at 11:59 pm AEDT, or once 48 valid registrations are received (whichever occurs first)

Eligible entrants

Entry is only open to NSW residents who are 18 years and over.

For the sake of clarity, the team captain and their team members (as set out in more detail below) must all comply with the eligibility requirements above.

How to Register

Team Captain Registration Requirement: To register, an eligible entrant must complete the following steps during the Registration Period:

  • visit hahnpromotion.com.au/half-court-half-pub, follow the prompts to the Promotion entry page; and fully complete and submit the online entry form with their personal details (first name, last name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and post code), their ‘team name’ and select their team’s availability(ies) from the dropdown list provided. The entrant will then be prompted with a unique code (“Team Code”); and
  • share the Team Code with three (3) friends aged 18 years or over (“Team Members”).

Team names must be suitable for wider publication and not objectionable, encourage irresponsible consumption of alcohol, infringe on any third party rights or be otherwise against public interest in any way. Individuals who submit unsuitable team names may be disqualified immediately or asked to change their team name (in the absolute discretion of the Promoter).

Team Member Registration Requirement: To complete their team’s registration, the Team Member must, during the Registration Period, visit hahnpromotion.com.au/half-court-half-pub, follow the prompts to the Promotion entry page; and fully complete and submit the online entry form with their personal details (first name, last name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and post code) and their Team Code.

The individual who registered the team will be referred to as the ‘Team Captain’ for the purpose of these Terms and Conditions and individuals who join the team will be referred to as the ‘Team Members’.

Only the first 48 teams to successfully register will receive the opportunity to participate in the 3x3 basketball tournament (‘Tournament’). For the sake of clarity, a team must consist of four (4) players (including the Team Captain) (“Team”). It is the Team Captain’s responsibility to have all Team Members complete their registrations within the Registration Period. In the event a Team is incomplete at the end of the Registration Period (i.e. there are not four (4) players registered), that Team will not be eligible to participate in the Tournament.

Members of each successfully registered Team will receive a basketball jersey (1 size only, awarded prior to the Tournament).

Upon registration of the Team Captain AND the three (3) Team Members, each person (i.e. the Team Captain and each Team Member) will then receive a unique code (“Entourage Code”) which they can share with three (3) other friends aged 18 years or over (“Entourage”). There is a limit of three (3) Entourage Registrations per person.

Entourage Registration Requirement: To register their attendance for the Tournament, members of the Entourage must, during the Registration Period, visit hahnpromotion.com.au/half-court-half-pub, follow the prompts to the Promotion page; and fully complete and submit the online form with their personal details (first name, last name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and post code) and their Entourage Code.

Individuals who successfully register their attendance will receive a VIP ticket to watch their team play in the Tournament. The ticket will be provided via email when the Tournament date is determined by the Promoter.

  • If an Entourage member is unwilling or unable to attend at the designated time for the Tournament, they forfeit the VIP ticket and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the VIP ticket.
  • VIP tickets are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restrictions. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject any Entourage member for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst attending the Tournament.
  • All costs associated with travel to and from the Tournament will be the responsibility of the Entourage members.
  • Entourage members will receive one (1) free Hahn drink while attending the Tournament.

Tournament Details

    • Once the Registration Period has ended, successfully registered Teams will be invited to take part in a Tournament. The Tournament will run for a period of three (3) days with 16 Teams competing each day. The format of the Tournament will be 3 vs. 3 (with a rotating bench player). The Promoter will communicate any rules regarding the Tournament on the day.
    • The Tournament will be held at Hoops Park Errol Flynn Blvd, Moore Park NSW 2021 (“Venue”) on the 11th, 18th and 25th of February 2024. Exact dates and time of the Tournament and each game will be determined by the Promoter and will be communicated to the Team Captain. If a Team (or any Team Member) is unavailable on the date(s) required by the Promoter, they will forfeit their right to participate and will not be awarded cash, or any other alternative in lieu.
    • All costs associated with travel to and from the Venue will be the responsibility of the Team Captain and Team Members.
    • There will be one (1) winning Team for each day of the tournament. The overall winning Team for each day will win the prize outlined below (“Winning Team”).
    • Non-winning Teams will not receive any consolation prize.
    • Team members must possess appropriate levels of fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity and other personal characteristics so as to be able to safely participate in the Tournament. Each member of a Team must carefully assess the levels of fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity and other personal characteristics required of them to take part in the Tournament. Members must immediately withdraw from the Tournament if they may not satisfy any of the required levels of fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity or other personal characteristics. The Promoter may require entrants to submit information relating to their fitness, health, skill, balance, dexterity or other personal characteristics. Acceptance of a Team Member by the Promoter following receipt of this information in no way: (a) constitutes a representation or assurance that they are suited to undertake the Tournament; or (b) relieves them of the obligation to assess the requirements of the Tournament and to withdraw if there is any doubt regarding their suitability.
    • The Team Captain and Team Members will be required to sign an additional release and indemnity form as provided by the Promoter (and any other paperwork required by the Promoter in its absolute discretion).

Entries permitted

Only one (1) eligible registration permitted per Team.

Each team must be made up of three (3) Team Members and one (1) Team Captain.
